A World Premiere in the Square tonight. Bend It Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha and her cast and crew all showed on a lovely evening for a great premiere. There weren’t many of the usual suspects about so there was plenty of time for fans to get their autographs and pictures. Tonight the fan-line was fronted by a large number of young ladies who were a lot easier on the eye than the typical premiere crowd. Great hot-pink set with flashing lights and a pink lips sofa for cast and celebs to pose on. The sofa was very popular with queues forming at one point. The Angus in the title is a real life fluffy cat that also made a tuxedo-clad trip down the red carpet and was none too fazed about it either. Definitely a cool customer. .Allan Davies was almost as cool, but in a different way.

Yes…Aaron is engaged to a 43 year old divorcee with two kids. She was the director for a movie called “Nowhere Boy” (if I recall correctly). He played a teen version of John Lennon and from what I’ve read, the romance picked up after the film had wrapped. Aaron in 2008 looked his age, Aaron in 2009/2010 looks like he’s 30. The marriage is gonna rob him of his youth and he’ll revolt after divorce. Sorry, I can’t picture being married to a 40 y/o and being a mother to a teen.
